For two decades, YoungDementia UK has enriched the lives of hundreds of people, particularly in our home county of Oxfordshire where we have supported over 1300 people.
But in many parts of the UK the specific support needed for people in their 30s to 60s with dementia is not available. We want to change that with your help.
Would you consider giving £20 for our 20th Anniversary? Donate today.
Or could you make a regular donation to give us a secure foundation as we expand our work?
I try to be a responsible dad and husband, and this kind of news, sets you back on your heels. It wasn’t in the plan, it wasn’t on the bucket list. I wasn’t sure how to go about doing anything. Des, 62
Two years ago, Des was diagnosed with young onset dementia.
'I had my own publishing business, when I started having problems. If we hadn’t found YoungDementia UK, I don’t know where we would be. Lost and depressed perhaps?'

We need to reach more people in more parts of the country. The first step in our 20th Anniversary year is to develop face to face services in Sheffield this autumn. We intend this to be the first of many regional services complementing our current national support.
We won’t stop until wherever you live, if you are affected by young onset dementia you have the support, information and connections you need to live well.
Please support us and donate today.
