Please note - due to the coronavirus situation, most service providers are not currently able to offer face to face support.  They may still be offering support via email and telephone and some have moved their groups online in order to comply with social distancing rules.  Some services have temporarily ceased operating.  We apologise if the information provided is out-of-date. 

DEEP Groups
The Dementia Engagement & Empowerment Project (DEEP) brings together groups of people with dementia from across the UK.  DEEP supports these groups to try to change services and policies that affect the lives of people with dementia.  Whilst not young onset specific, many of the DEEP groups are well attended by younger people with dementia.  

tide (together in dementia everyday)
tide offer a number of online groups to help keep carers connected.  Their UK-wide young onset carers group meet (virtually) on the first Tuesday of every month at 10am.  They provide a safe space for family carers to share their experiences.  The group is free to attend for tide members.

Carers Matter Norfolk is the countywide service funded by Norfolk County Council and the NHS to provide support to unpaid carers.  All services are free and available to people aged 16+ caring for someone aged 18+. Support is available to those caring for someone living in Norfolk, whether the carer lives in the county or elsewhere (caring at a distance).  Services include a confidential advice line, 1 to 1 support and education and training.  Download a leaflet about their services here

A monthly peer support group for people from across Norfolk who are aged under 65; there are also additional social activities and outings.  A referral is required and a waiting list is currently in operation. Please contact the Norfolk helpline tel 01603 763556 for information about how to access the group.
