Please note - due to the coronavirus situation, most service providers are not currently able to offer face to face support.  They may still be offering support via email and telephone and some have moved their groups online in order to comply with social distancing rules.  Some services have temporarily ceased operating.  We apologise if the information provided is out-of-date. 

DEEP Groups
The Dementia Engagement & Empowerment Project (DEEP) brings together groups of people with dementia from across the UK.  DEEP supports these groups to try to change services and policies that affect the lives of people with dementia.  Whilst not young onset specific, many of the DEEP groups are well attended by younger people with dementia.  

tide (together in dementia everyday)
tide offer a number of online groups to help keep carers connected.  Their UK-wide young onset carers group meet (virtually) on the first Tuesday of every month at 10am.  They provide a safe space for family carers to share their experiences.  The group is free to attend for tide members.

Bromley Dementia Support Hub run an online Zoom group for people with young onset dementia in the Borough of Bromley.  They meet on Zoom every Thursday morning 10.30-11.30am.

St George's Hospital Early Onset Support Group

Meets every 4-6 weeks in the Hunter Wing, St George's Hospital.  Meetings take place in the evenings and offer peer to peer support for younger people who are living with dementia, their family and supporters. Due to the COVID pandemic, the group is not able to meet face to face so is having fortnightly Zoom meetings.

In association with Sporting Memories Network, regular Reminiscence Sessions are held for local people who are living with dementia.These sessions allow our visitors and their carers to enjoy different areas of the ground and provide a welcoming environment for memories and stories to be shared over afternoon tea.
