YoungDementia UK believe every person living with young onset dementia should be well supported and informed to enable them to have the best possible opportunity to live life fully. Currently support in the UK is fragmented and scarce. We want to change this and have created an exciting new national development role to join our award-winning team.
We are looking for the right person to help our national plans flourish. This newly created full-time role will –
- Develop a National Young Onset Dementia Network into an effective and powerful movement of people living with and working with young onset dementia which will improve the lives of those affected now and in the future. The role will work closely with the Network’s steering group of well-connected, passionate and experienced individuals.
- Work with local people to develop young onset dementia support services in areas of the UK, drawing on our experience of running award-winning face-to-face services in Oxfordshire.
- The work requires determination and focus, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
